Thanks for sharing your mods with us out here. The 500 is my first bike (I'm 51) and I love it.

I bought a new 2006 model in May 2007 and have 7,000 miles on it now. I haven't done any major modifications, but I've added the small Kawi windshield, iso-grips, mini iso-wing footpegs, and Saddlemen saddlebags. I've also had a double layer of memory foam put in the seat and this makes the seat far more comfortable. At some point I would like to add a sissy bar so I can carry more stuff on my short trips.
